ARC Social Responsibility Statement
Abbott Risk Consulting (ARC) Ltd recognises the need for business to support the communities that they work within and especially the charities both local and global that enrich the society that our staff work and live within.
ARC also recognises the abundance of charities looking for support from business and the commercial reality that we are unable to support everyone. The board of ARC has therefore taken the decision to support specific charities and will continue to provide a proportion of our profits at a level of at least 0.5% yearly to charity and the local communities we work within.
ARC has in the past and continues to support the following charities:-
Mary’s meals
Dutch Hospice
On this basis we politely decline approaches from other charities and organisations and ask them to respect our choice in supporting our local and global community.
Each year we also aim to support one local community sport team or sporting event within the UK. In 2008 we provided a football strip to a school team near Derby.
ARC is very pleased to sponsor Fulham Compton Ladies Football Club for the 2010/11 season. They are a successful Ladies football club based in South West London, with two teams in the Greater London Women's League. www.fclfc.co.uk
